Jim Fleming received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and Criminal
Justice Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1978. He
received his J.D. Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in
1984 where he was appointed to the National Order of the Barristers for
demonstrated excellence in trial advocacy. He is licensed to practice in
both the state and federal courts in Minnesota and Nebraska. Jim focuses his
practice in the areas of Corporate/Commercial Law, Business and Civil
Litigation, Banking, Employment Law, Real Estate, Business Start
Up/Acquisition and Sales and Criminal Defense. Jim has served on the boards
of numerous civic organizations including the Monticello-Big Lake Community
Hospital, Monticello Police Commission, Monticello Industrial Development
Committee, TDS Telephone Advisory Board and the Monticello Chamber of
Commerce. He also serves on the Minnesota Bar Association Court Rules and
Judicial Elections Committees and the Minnesota Civil Jury Instruction
Revision Committee. Mr. Fleming is also a qualified arbitration and
mediation neutral.
