    Jim Fleming is a former Nebraska certified law enforcement officer who graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1978, with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Administration. He received his J.D. Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1984. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Minnesota and Nebraska. Jim practices in the areas of Criminal Defense, Corporate/Commercial Law, Non-Profits, Employment Law, Real Estate, Business Start Up/Acquisition and Sales and is an experienced trial attorney. SERVICE to COMMUNITY:
Over the years, Jim Fleming has served on the boards of numerous civic organizations including the Monticello-Big Lake Community Hospital, Monticello Police Commission, Monticello Industrial and Economic Development Committee, TDS Telephone Advisory Board and the Monticello Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the national Advisory Board of the Armed Citizens Legal Defense Foundation and is a curriculum development director and affiliate attorney for the Armed Citizen’s Legal Defense Network, LLC.

Jim is also a certified Minnesota and Utah firearms trainer and President of Mid-Minnesota Self-Defense, Inc.
